Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before registering for the 2026 Bethel Trip (July 27 - August 2, 2026). By submitting a deposit and/or payment, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Trip Organization
This trip is organized by Paul Terry as an independent travel group for Jehovah's Witnesses and friends. This trip is not officially sponsored, endorsed, or organized by the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society or any of its entities.
2. Registration and Payment
2.1 Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of $50 per person is required to secure your spot on the trip.
Your spot is not guaranteed until the deposit is received.
Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances.
2.2 Payment Schedule
At least one-third (1/3) of your total trip cost is due by May 16, 2026.
At least two-thirds (2/3) of your total trip cost is due by June 16, 2026.
Full payment is due by June 27, 2026.
You may make payments of any amount, at any time, as often as you like, as long as you meet the due dates above.
Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in forfeiture of your deposit and cancellation of your reservation.
2.3 Accepted Payment Methods
We accept Cash App ($cterry216), Zelle, checks, money orders, and credit cards (via PayPal).
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
3.1 Trip Cancellation by Organizer
If we cancel the trip for any reason, all money paid (including deposits) will be refunded in full.
3.2 Cancellation by Participant
Before June 6, 2026: 80% of money paid (excluding the non-refundable deposit) will be refunded.
After June 6, 2026: No refund will be given unless you find a suitable replacement participant who pays the full trip cost.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to paulterry@mail.com.
3.3 No-Show Policy
Participants who fail to show up on the departure date without prior cancellation will not receive any refund.
4. Trip Inclusions and Exclusions
4.1 Included in Trip Price
Round-trip bus transportation from Cleveland, Ohio
6 nights hotel accommodations (shared rooms based on registration)
Tours of Canada Bethel (Toronto), Warwick World Headquarters, and Patterson Educational Center
MET Museum Bible History Tour
NYC sightseeing activities as listed in itinerary
4.2 NOT Included in Trip Price
Meals (except where specifically noted in detailed itinerary)
Personal expenses and shopping
Travel insurance
Gratuities for bus driver
Any activities not specifically listed in the itinerary
5. Itinerary Changes
Important: The itinerary is subject to change due to inclement weather, unforeseen circumstances, facility availability, or other events beyond our control. We will make every reasonable effort to maintain the published schedule, but no refunds will be granted for minor itinerary modifications.
6. Natural Disasters and Force Majeure
No refunds are granted for natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, acts of God, terrorism, civil unrest, or other force majeure events that interrupt or alter the itinerary. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
7. Participant Responsibilities
7.1 Identification and Documentation
Participants must bring valid government-issued photo identification for the Canada border crossing.
U.S. citizens need a valid passport, passport card, or enhanced driver's license for entry into Canada.
Non-U.S. citizens are responsible for ensuring they have proper documentation for international travel and re-entry to the United States.
7.2 Health and Medical
Participants must be in sufficient physical condition to participate in walking tours and activities.
Participants are responsible for bringing any necessary medications.
The organizer is not responsible for medical expenses incurred during the trip.
7.3 Conduct
Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a manner befitting Jehovah's Witnesses and friends.
The trip coordinator reserves the right to remove any participant whose conduct is disruptive or inappropriate, without refund.
8. Liability and Insurance
8.1 Limitation of Liability
The trip organizer, Paul Terry, acts only as an agent for participants in arranging transportation, accommodations, and tours. The organizer is not responsible for:
Acts or omissions of third-party service providers (hotels, bus companies, tour facilities, restaurants)
Loss, damage, or theft of personal property
Personal injury, illness, or death
Delays, cancellations, or changes by third parties
Any damages or losses arising from participation in this trip
8.2 Travel Insurance
Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance to cover trip cancellation, medical expenses, and other unforeseen circumstances. The organizer does not provide travel insurance.
9. Roommate Assignments
Room assignments are based on the number of people per room selected during registration.
If you need assistance finding a roommate to share costs, contact the trip coordinator.
Single room upgrades are subject to availability and price differences apply.
The organizer reserves the right to make final room assignments to optimize group accommodation.
10. Photography and Publicity
By participating in this trip, you grant permission for photographs or videos taken during the trip to be used for promotional purposes for future trips. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the trip coordinator.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
12. Changes to Terms
The trip organizer reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of material changes via email. Continued participation after notification constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
13. Acknowledgment and Agreement
By submitting payment for this trip, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
